Dear Esteemed Participants,
Medical Device Authority (MDA) Malaysia, under the Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) in collaboration with Asia Events Group is pleased to welcome you to the inaugural Future Healthcare Asia 2024. As Malaysia is heading towards becoming hub of the healthcare, technology, innovation, and medical tourism sectors in the ASEAN region, there are various key initiatives, strategies, and developments planned to pave the way for a bright and successful future of the industry.
MDA is a government agency established in 2012 under MOH, aimed at promoting and developing Malaysia’s healthcare industry, specifically through the development and regulation of medical devices used within the Malaysian medical industry. To propel Malaysia as a top-notch global healthcare hub, MDA focuses its resources in developing 4 key areas in the Malaysian medical industry;
- Regulation of medical devices adhering to world-class safety standards;
- Keeping up with the latest and cutting-edge technologies in medical device whilst developing the local expertise and competencies within the industry;
- To be thoroughly engaged with the consumers and stakeholders with regards to industry needs; and
- Developing international relations with medical practitioners from all over the world as a global player within the medical community.
With this international gathering of industry leaders set to feature close to 50 expert speakers and over 150 professional delegates & attendees, we hope to address the various subjects on the current and future state of the industry in Asia Pacific and its forecasted sustainability through;
- Providing an important platform for regional thought leaders and experts in human healthcare to exchange relevant solutions, research breakthroughs, technological advancements, innovative ideas and systems; and
- Promoting key collaborations and policy drivers through the plenary and expert panel speaking sessions in addition to the engaging business networking discussions.
