Dr. Ahmad Taufik Jamil is an accomplished Associate Professor and consultant specializing in public health medicine, with a profound focus on physical activity, health informatics, and a wealth of experience spanning over 28 years. Commencing his career in 1995 as a medical officer at the Ministry of Health, Malaysia, he laid the cornerstone for his illustrious journey. In 2002, he seamlessly transitioned into academia, assuming the role of a medical lecturer in the Department of Community Health at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). His tenure at UKM witnessed his ascent to the position of Head of the IT department at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (HUKM), where he spearheaded a significant in-house hospital information system development project.
