Major (Dr) Khairul Afnan Khalid (Retired) holds a Medical Degree from University Science of Malaysia (2007) and currently completing his Masters at Disaster Preparedness and Prevention Centre of Malaysia-Japan International Institute of Technology under University Technology Malaysia (2023). He is currently also the Chief Operations Officer of Al Khalish Group. His exposure in Disaster Training and Management during his military services (2007-2017), complements his knowledge and skill, allowing Kelantan State Government to appoint him as Subject Matter expert. His best achievement was to receive Anugerah Raja Nazrin Shah Pegawai Terbaik Kor Kesihatan Di-Raja 2016 for his involvement in Disaster Operations. Apart that, he had been working closely with University Technology of Malaysia, GIS and Mechatronics Lecturers in E-Bencana project (via AR Machatronics PLT spinoff), involved in discussions in developing Military Lifetime Health Records (MLHR – KKD), REMEDi (EHR), and efforts to implement IOMT at community level. He trained Docmove Sdn Bhd, a company that implements IOMT in managing prehospital care for patients and disaster coordination on 9 January 2024. He is also an entrepreneur who specializes in innovative medical ideas and business management. His Innovative ideas won 2 gold medals and 1 jury. Apart from that, he spearheaded Marketing projects for Al Khalish Group, improving sales and set up Pusat Dialisis Iman in Kuala Terengganu, Terengganu With his knowledge, experience, and skills, he was invited as a speaker for Disaster Management by Kelantan State Government to train NGO’s, community, and staff. He was also invited to universities to touch on the topic of Medical Entrepreneurship for undergraduates. To date, he had already written 2 e- books in Malay Langguange on the topic of Disaster Management and Digital Marketing
