Mr Fazli graduated from Liverpool John Moores University, UK with a Bachelor Honours Degree in Pharmacy and also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). He is known as an influential healthcare leader in driving changes and performance improvement projects. With more than 25 years of healthcare management experience in the private health sector, his experience spans from hospital commissioning of a fully integrated IT hospital, to managing business operations to quality management. His experience in quality and patient safety accreditations include that for ISO 9001 for Quality Management Systems; Malaysian Society for Quality in Health (MSQH); Joint Commission International (JCI); Closed-Loop Medication Administration/Management (CLMA) system, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Stage 6 as well as business process reengineering and service transformation programs. As the Quality Management Director of FV Hospital, he leads to drive and ensure quality healthcare is being delivered to all patients. Besides ensuring compliances and guiding best practices, his further responsibilities include optimization of health technologies use to drive patient safety best practices, strengthen hospital operational workflow efficiency and to enhance patient engagement and experience. Concurrently, Fazli is serving as the Head of Pharmacy Department, FV Hospital. Fazli is a frequent speaker at both local and international meetings. His main area of interest and passion is in the application of digital technology and data analytics to strengthen hospital operations, clinically and financially, promote workflow efficiency, drive patient safety practices, and to enhance patient experience.
