Sabariah Ahmad is a dedicated and enthusiastic person with 27 years of working experience in Information Security. She is currently with CyberSecurity Malaysia, who is responsible in implementing Information Security Management System, ensuring CyberSecurity Malaysia sustainability and resiliency through business preparedness and continuity management. She has lead various projects related to information security governance, risk management, compliance (GRC) and data privacy for the past 10 years. She is certified trainer by Human Resources Development Fund, an organisation under the Human Resources Ministry, and has conducted various trainings as well as awareness related to information security management to the Critical National Information Infrastructure (CNII) agencies and organizations. She is currently in the working group for WG/G/5-1 information security management system (ISMS). This working group is under Industry Standards Committee on Information Technology, Communications and Multimedia (ISC G) – national mirror committee overseeing national and international standardisation activities in the field of IT, communications and multimedia. Sabariah received a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science from the USA. She is professional technologist (Ts.) from Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT). She has obtained international professional certifications among others are ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Associate Risk Management Professional (ARMP), Governance, Risk Management and Compliance Certificate (CGRC), and Information Security Management System (ISMS) Lead Auditor Certificate, Prior to joining CyberSecurity Malaysia, Sabariah was attached to a government linked company that provides services and products on e-commerce specifically in the fields of trade facilitation, supply chain and transport industries
